Earlier this year in March 2020, HHS announced its enforcement discretion about the use of telecommunications providers for providing telehealth services. This is a welcome announcement for clients and patients of as well as health care providers using technology platforms and audio/video teleconferencing solutions to deliver much-needed health care services.
